Can't decide which trailer to choose from?  Let us help you out with our side-by-side comparison of the 8' Cubby and 10' Comet.

10' Comet Overview

The Comet is for individuals with welding skills or access to someone who welds.  It can be modified more easily because the chassis is made from scratch.  Many builders find this a satisfying project.

The Comet can be used by those who stray a ways off the beaten path, on roads that are not always maintained.  It can be used for more extended stays, and has a little more cabin length.

8' Cubby Overview

The Cubby is excellent for individuals with limited welding skills.  As an added benefit, the pre-fabricated chassis goes together in an afternoon, and is much cheaper that building from scratch.

The Cubby would be best for those who spend most of their camping time in established campgrounds for a couple days at a time.  It travels well down paved  or well- graded dirt roads.
