| Well, yes and no. Northern Spy sets fruit just fine here,
proving that just about any apple variety will fruit here despite our
lack of chilling hours. But just because it will fruit doesn't
mean it will necessarily be good, and I'm afraid Northern Spy was
terrible- colorless, mushy, bland. But don't despair, as there are
many other apple varieties well suited to our climate. Click on
