CUBBY SIDE DOOR PLANS
It’s
funny what people end up liking about a teardrop.
When we take the 8’ Cubby to shows and teardrop gatherings,
we get the expected positive comments about the cherry cabinets and
homemade icebox. But we
also heard many comments about our doors on the Cubby, such as “It
shuts like a Mercedes,” and “ best home built doors.”
Instead of closing with a “whap” like regular thin
teardrop doors, the Cubby doors close with a “thunk.”
And
so it is that we offer the plans for the doors as a separate
package. These doors
are unique in that they are true radius doors (rounded corners), but
are also fully insulated and 1-1/4” thick.
